 PHILADELPHIA, Sept. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Earle Palmer Brown, one of the


largest independent marketing communications agencies in the United States, has reached a merger agreement with SAI Promotions Inc., of Melrose Park, Pa.
 SAI will be joined with the operations of Earle Palmer Brown & Spiro, the Philadelphia office of Earle Palmer Brown.

"With the addition of SAI, Earle Palmer Brown & Spiro will have $114 million in billings and is now tied for first place as the largest advertising agency in the Philadelphia market. We are also now the only major agency in Philadelphia with a true capability in every discipline of communications."
 For over 20 years, SAI has implemented promotional campaigns for more than 40 of America's leading corporations including Visa, Seagram's, Fleischmann's Yeast, Dole and Black & Decker. With approximately 25 employees and $18 million in billings, SAI is one of the nation's top full-service sales promotion agencies. The company specializes in developing promotional marketing campaigns using direct response, sweepstakes and contests, cooperative marketing, premiums and incentives, and entertainment disciplines/tactics.
