A TEACHER fired after telling a pupil they were on his "s*** list" has been struck off Andrew Kerr, 55, who taught physics at Ardnamurchan High School in Strontian, Lochaber, also said: "Shut the f*** up", and "You should f***ing know that."

Kerr was accused of using inappropriate language and violating policy by using current tests as practice tests and showing a pupil a copy of marking guidelines.

A General Teaching Council panel ruled that the evidence he gave them was not truthful and he had fallen significantly short of expected standards of conduct.

Kerr has been removed from the teaching register for at least 12 months.
