Ryan Thomas has revealed intimate details of his beyond romantic Italian proposal to Lucy Mecklenburgh.

In a string of gorgeous pictures theCoronation Streetstar, 35, managed to reveal just how he popped the question to Lucy, 27.

With a breathtaking view overPositano, Ryan selected a private dining area in their five starVilla Trevillehotel.

The former CBB star had planned everything down to a fine detail with their table lit by romantic candlelight and fire lanterns.

Surrounded by pink roses with the twinkling Italian coast in front of them, Ryan asked Lucy to be his wife.

He later shared the intimate snaps on Instagram, with the caption: "Welcome to the family."

Ex TOWIE star Lucy announced the happy news onInstagramwith a snap of the pair kissing. She captioned the picture: "I said YES!" With a ring emoji.

The pair, who met back in 2017, are on a romantic Italian break - which was a surprise from Ryan. It is believed he popped the question at their romantic five-star Villa TreVille hotel in Positano.

The formerCoronation Streetstar, 35, and his stunning other half, 27, met on TV show Survival Of The Fittest - with Ryan later saying he had fancied Lucy for three years before he met her.

When fans witnessed the effort that Ryan, who shares daughter Scarlett, 10, with ex Tina O'Brien, had gone to secretly plan the Italian break, they were quick to ponder if a proposal could be on the cards.

"I'm feeling Ryan is going to propose," one wrote as they gawked at the pair's lavish break, while another agreed: "Gonna put a ring on it".

And Lucy took to Instagram to display her ring - which appeared to be a square yellow diamond flanked by more diamonds on the shoulder of the white gold band.
