Ruud ride for Rovers? RESULT!
BLACKBURN have trained their binoculars on Ruud van Nistelrooy but face stiff competition from both Tottenham and trainer Nicky Henderson.
The Dutch centaurforward has made it clear he won't be signing a new deal at Hamburg and Rovers think they can lure him to Ewood Park with a bumper wage packet and a few sweeteners - like sugar lumps.
Van Nistelrooy believes a return to the Premier League will help him play in the next World Cup - the Dubai World Cup. The former Manchester United plodder is 2-1 with Ladbrokes to join Blackburn in the summer.
"I am thinking about a nice club in England after this season", van Nistelrooy is quoted as saying, so you've got it straight from the horse's mouth.
