Today the head of the administration of the Morgaush district, RN. Timofeev congratulated the veteran of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, the participant of the Battle of Stalingrad G.N. Ilugin on the 95th anniversary of his birth.
Grigory Nikiforovich was born on January 30, 1923 in a large family. His father was a blacksmith and little Grisha began to learn blacksmithing from a young age. According to relatives, the first entry in his work book appeared in 1935.
Jubilee told the guests about his childhood, about life in wartime, about battles. The veteran remembers everything and with great pleasure shares his memories. In his 95 years he reads without glasses, feels fine. Grigory Nikiforovich also shared his bright impressions of his trip to Stalingrad, nowadays Volgograd. He visited there in 2013 and in 2018.
Rostislav Nikolaevich congratulated the veteran on his jubilee, wished him good health and long life. "We are proud of you, your courage and fortitude. Live long for the joy of children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren , "he said.
