Russian Federation : In the Kemerovo region, policemen detained a suspect who equipped a greenhouse for cannabis growing in the apartment.
Employees of the Drug Control Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Kemerovo region received prompt information that a resident of the city of Novokuznetsk at home grows hemp. During the operational-search activities, the police established the identity of the suspect. He was a 28-year-old resident of one of the houses on the street 40 years of the Komsomol.
During the special operation in a newly rented apartment of novokuznechaninom operatives found a secret greenhouse where the suspect grew cannabis. It was a greenhouse tent in which narcotic plants grew in large numbers. To increase the yield and maturity of cannabis, the suspect equiped the room with ventilation, irrigation and lighting systems.
As a result of the search of the premises, employees of the UNOC of the GU MVD of Russia in the Kemerovo region seized 65 drug-containing plants. Also during the search, the police found 50 grams of ready-made narcotic drug - marijuana.
According to the owner of the "underground" greenhouse, he grew hemp for his own consumption. Currently, the investigator of the Zavodskaya police department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Novokuznetsk has been charged with a criminal case on the grounds of the crime provided for in Part 1 of Art. 231 of the Criminal Code. According to the sanctions of this article, the maximum penalty is 2 years imprisonment. Police detained the suspect, who equipped the apartment with a greenhouse for growing cannabis.
