Russian Federation : Alexander Samodelkin: IMSO is the main event of Russian education.

From April 18 to 21, 2018, at the VDNKh, the scientists of the FGBOU VO "Nizhny Novgorod State Agricultural Academy" took part in the Moscow International Salon of Education (IMSO-2018).

The organizer of the salon was the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. The objectives of this event were to show the high level of modern Russian education at all levels, to discuss the prospects for its development in the country and to find the best solutions to the existing problems in the educational sector.

The Salon included functions of a platform for the development of a dialogue between the educational and expert communities, state institutions and businesses on current issues of the present and future educational system, a platform for attracting the attention of Russian and foreign businesses to participation in the Russian educational process, including in the form of public-private partnerships .

At the stand of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation were presented the developments from 12 agrarian universities, including two innovative developments from the National Agricultural Academy: the "UCROP" installation, authored by the candidate of agricultural sciences, the senior lecturer of the department "Agrochemistry and agroecology" Alexander Vetchinkikov and the project " - HPP ", whose author is the candidate of technical sciences, associate professor of the department" Technology of metals and machinery repair "Eugene Ivanov.

The project of a mini hydro power plant to provide agro-enterprises with its own alternative electricity is planned to be extended throughout Russia. This is the development of the National Agricultural Academy and it is patented. Mini-HPP is an alternative energy source capable of providing electricity to a small farm or a settlement of up to 100 households. The Academy already has contracts for the implementation of the project with two investors from the Vadsky and Kstovo districts of the Nizhny Novgorod region. The mini-HPP technology resembles the principle of operation of water mills, which were used in the Middle Ages. It is installed on ordinary reservoirs, lakes, where there are water cascades, water level changes. Roughly speaking, it is a wheel that turns under the influence of water and at the same time electricity is produced. The power of a mini-hydropower plant depends on the height of the fall and the amount of falling water. For example, in the Nizhny Novgorod region it is planned to install stations with a capacity of 2.5-4 kW. "Elsewhere in the region, the mini-HPP will be installed on the territory of the fish farm, which has 13 reservoirs with cascades, each mini-hydroelectric power plant will be supplied and integrated into the system. Then they receive up to 10 kW of electricity per day from all installations, which will completely cover their need for electricity. The customer of the mini-HPP was a peasant village, developing ecotourism to provide electricity to a tourist village of about 150 people There are several lakes where fish are grown, there are attractions. Each drain will be supplied with a mini-hydropower plant and integrated into a system. Then they receive up to 10 kW of electricity per day from all installations, which completely covers their need for electricity. The customer of the mini-HPP was a peasant village, developing ecotourism to provide electricity to a tourist village of about 150 people. According to the rector of the NSAA, the development of Nizhny Novgorod scientists has already received international recognition. "This is a small energy and environmentally friendly technology, developed at international exhibitions in Korea and Malaysia and received two gold medals, in Malaysia we were asked to sell a patent for the development of the project, offered a good amount, but we did not sell," stressed Alexander Samodelkin.
