Russian Federation : Agricultural production in Dagestan for 11 months of 2017 increased by 4.7%.

In January-November of this year, the volume of agricultural production in Dagestan increased to 110 billion 365 million rubles, which is 4.7% more compared to the same period last year.

In particular, the volume of production in the field of plant growing grew by 4.9% to 56 billion 689 million rubles, livestock production - by 4.5%, to 53 billion 675 million rubles. As of December 1, 2017, by all categories of farms, cereals (excluding corn) were mowed and threshed on an area of ??125.2 thousand hectares, which is 6.6% higher than the same period last year. 355.7 thousand tons of grain were threshed in the initially accrualed weight (8.2% growth), 28.4 centners per hectare were threshed to the range (1.4% growth).

Corn for grain was harvested from an area of ??15.7 thousand hectares, 60.6 thousand tons were harvested, corn yield was 38.7 c / ha (an increase of 12.2%). Potatoes were dug on an area of ??21.9 thousand hectares, 395 thousand tons were dug out, from 180 hectares were obtained from 1 hectare. Vegetables were harvested from an area of ??41.6 thousand hectares, 1.46 million tons of vegetables were produced (an increase of 3.2%), from 1 ha, 348.7 centners of vegetables were harvested (an increase of 4%).
