Russia to make international passports for Kyrgyz citizens to enter Russia.
Russia will make international passports for Kyrgyzstan, which will be required in future to visit Russia, Russian Federal Customs Service Chairman Andrey Belyaninov, co-chairman of the Kyrgyz-Russian intergovernmental commission, said following the meeting of the commission in Moscow, reported RIA Novosti. Russian President Vladimir Putin said in his address to the Federal Assembly earlier that citizens of all foreign countries will be allowed to enter Russia only with international passports since 2015. Citizens of Kyrgyzstan can enter Russia now with internal passports (ID Cards). "We offered the Kyrgyz side today at the intergovernmental commission session the opportunities of Russia to make international passports for travel of Kyrgyz citizens to Russia. The Kyrgyz side accepted this offer," Belyaninov said. He added the international passport requirement for travel to Russia is a timely decision. "This will allow to straighten out entries to and exits from our country anyway. We will lastly know how many citizens of Kyrgyzstan stay and work in Russia," the Federal Customs Service Chairman said. The protocol signed at the session of the intergovernmental commission tasked the Justice Ministry of Kyrgyzstan, State Registration Service, Russian Goznak (enterprise responsible for production of coins and banknotes), the First Mint to work on production of secured print products and documents for the country.News Agency I...IUIypress - 2001-2013
