Russia Denies Closing Quadrilateral Security Center To Exchange Information in Baghdad.

BAGHDAD / NINA / Russian embassy in Baghdad denied reports that indicated the closure of quadrilateral security center for the exchange of security and intelligence information to fight terrorism. A source in the embassy told the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / that "what was reported by some media since yesterday about closing or obviate the need for the quadrilateral security center between Iraq, Russia, Syria and Iran for the exchange of security and intelligence information to fight terrorism is not true at all." He added, "The center works naturally for the exchange information to combat Daesh and other terrorist organizations," noting that "this news is incorrect and does not serve the interests of combating terrorism." It is mentioned that some media pointed to obviate the need for the quadrilateral security center and it will be closed. / End
