A pilot agreement has been signed by Runaware, an online demonstration services provider, with Adobe Systems Incorporated (Adobe), a software company, which will make Acrobat 8 Professional available on the TestDrive service, providing an online demonstration opportunity.

Runaware said Adobe will, during the 90 day trial, evaluate the performance of the TestDrive system and the popularity of the trials compared to other trial methods.

Adobe will reportedly make the TestDrive demo available on http://www.adobe.com and via targeted e-mail campaigns, with the TestDrive for Acrobat Pro demonstrating features in this version, such as file conversion, shared review, forms and document security.

In addition, visitors will be able to provide feedback for the TestDrive demo, sharing the user experience with the two companies, with a link to the Adobe store included to allow users to buy the software following their TestDrive.

According to Runaware, Acrobat Pro is the first software of its kind to be made available on the TestDrive service.
