I WAS appalled to read about the difficulties of the innovative Bangor company, DeepStream Technologies, because of the economic depression caused by the bankers (Daily Post, May 27). The workers facing unemployment have my deepest sympathy.

The information disclosed in recent weeks has demonstrated that many members of the Cabinet had no moral conscience whatsoever in making outrageous expenses claims on the public purse.

Is it any wonder that these people in a position of power turned a blind eye to the disastrous actions of the greedy incompetent charlatans who've been running our banks in recent years and allowed Gordon Brown, as Chancellor, to sit back, twiddle his thumbs, and do absolutely nothing to regulate them until they had successfully ruined our economy?
