Rugby: Kiddie keen to make up for lost time at Glasgow.

Byline: RODDY DUNCAN

FULL-BACK Graeme Kiddie will attempt to put his lost year behind him tomorrow when he lines up for Glasgow's first action since the pro-team revamp.

The Warriors square up to English Cup winners Newcastle Falcons in a dress rehearsal for the Celtic League kick-off against Leinster next Friday.

Kiddie aims to snuff out the memory of his injury nightmare and persuade coach Richie Dixon he should be in the starting line-up in Dublin.

Dixon said: "It is very heartening to see Graeme back at full fitness. He was forced to sit out his first season as a contracted player after sustaining a very serious knee injury.

"We regard him as a valuable member of our squad."

Kiddie will wear the No.15 jersey while Scotland star Glenn Metcalfe, who underwent surgery in the summer, finishes his rehab programme.
