Rugby Union: Waterloo win Cup.

Sedgley Park 19 Waterloo 30 WATERLOO took the Lancashire Cup beating Sedgley Park 30-19 at Whitefields last night.

The pack dominated with half-backs Pablo Freijoo and Alex Davies directing operations from the base.

The visitors were 6-0 up from two penalties from Davies after 10 minutes before Neil Kerfoot won a chase to the line for the opening try.

Park came back with a try in the final minutes before second-half tries from Tom Davies and a second for Kerfoot increased the lead to 23-7 on the hour.

The home side however came back with two tries to close the gap to four points but Waterloo were not to be denied and a final try from Matt Bradley sealed the win.
