Rugby Union: Maxwell to miss SA clash.
The 26-year-old Maxwell, who has won 34 caps, has been replaced in the 22-man squad by Waikato's Royce Willis, which means Simon Maling is likely to retain his spot in the starting 15. Meanwhile, South African coach Rudolf Straeuli says he is happy to see Jonah Lomu back in the Kiwi squad.
Giant wing Lomu has been recalled along with Hurricanes teammate Tana Umaga after both were dropped for the clash with Australia.
Straeuli said: ``For us, a New Zealand side without Lomu is not a challenge. So we'd like to play against him.
``Umaga and Lomu are two home boys from Wellington.'' Saturday's Test - Straeuli's fifth in charge since taking over from Harry Viljoen - will be the biggest test yet for this young team.
``Just reading in the newspapers, you would think there was only two sides in the Tri-Nations,'' he said. ``Nobody has said anything about us. We're a new team. Nobody knows about us.
``We are an unknown factor.''
