Rugby Union: Greenwood in England boost.

Byline: Graham Woods

BATH'S defeat at Newcastle yesterday means they slip to fourth in the Premiership, with Saracens, who recorded a comfortable win over Sale, breathing down their neck for that crucial home play-off berth.

But with all eyes on the Six Nations this week there was good news for England as Will Greenwood came through

Harlequins' defeat at Bristol, having missed out in midweek with a bruised shoulder.

Other England players on song were Saracens forwards Danny Grewcock and Richard Hill, who both scored tries in their team's 44-30 win, and

Newcastle fly-half, who scored a try and hit two conversions.

Premiership - Hills: 1-8 Leicester, 15-2 Wasps, 12 Northampton, Bath, 25 Saracens, 40 Newcastle. Win only.
