Rubber Division, ACS offers scholarships.
The Rubber Division of the American Chemicals Society is offering three $5,000 undergraduate scholarships to students entering their junior or senior year of study for the fall 2007 through spring 2008 academic year.Applicants may have a major area of study in chemistry, physics, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, polymer science or other technical discipline of relevance to the rubber industry. Guidelines for the scholarships and the application form are available at www.rubber.org.
The Rubber Division is also offering two $1,250 Rubber Technology Training Awards to technicians and production personnel who work in the rubber industry.
Applicants must have a nomination letter from a Rubber Group submitted on their behalf in addition to their application. Guidelines for the awards and the application form are available at www.rubber.org.
The application deadline for both the Rubber Division scholarships and awards is March 1.
