Rs 321 mln earmarked for PNRA in PSDP 2015-16.
ISLAMABAD -- The Federal Government has allocated Rs 321 million under Public Service Development Programme (PSDP) for Pakistan Nuclear Regulatory Authority (PNRA) for the fiscal year 2015-16.
According to a budgetary document released here Friday, an amount of Rs 321 million has been allocated for the on-going (296 million) and new schemes (25 million) in the PSDP 2015-16.
The on-going projects include Safety Analysis Center (SAC) to provide Regulatory Support and for Indigenization of NPP in Pakistan (Islamabad) at a cost of Rs 121.670 million; PNRA
Residential Colony at Chashma, District Mianwali, Kundian atma cost of Rs 100 million; an amount of Rs 74.330 has been earmarked for Establishment of National Radiological Emergency Coordination Center (NRECC).
The new schemes include capacity building in Design Assessment and Analysis to Ensure Safety of Advance Nuclear Power Plants in Pakistan at a cost of Rs 15 million. For National Programme on Measurement of Marine Radioactivity, an amount of Rs 10 million have ben earmarked.
