Royal school student suicide.

A STUDENT at Prince Charles' former school killed herself while home for the summer holidays, it emerged yesterday.

Sixth-form pupil Shirvani Singh, 17, was a student at top public school Gordonstoun, near Elgin in the Scottish Highlands, a favourite place of learning for the Royal Family.

Headmaster Mark Pyper yesterday paid tribute to Miss Singh, who recently performed with the school theatre group at Edinburgh's Fringe Festival.

He said the teenager was at home in India for the holidays when she died on August 24.

Her family has been in touch with the school and while it is known she committed suicide, details of her death remain unclear.
