Royal Unibrew A/S (CPH:RBREW) reported on Monday that under its share buy-back programme, it has repurchased a total of 748,965 shares at an average purchase price of DKK459.15, equal to a transaction value of DKK343,889,934.45.

The company said that on 6 March 2018, it initiated a share buy-back programme, which is expected to be realised in the period from 7 March 2018 to 22 February 2019. The total share buy-back in this period will not exceed a market price of DKK400m.

With these transactions, Royal Unibrew now owns a total of 874.912 shares, corresponding to 1.7 % of the share capital. The total amount of shares in the company is 51,000,000, including treasury shares.

Royal Unibrew produces beer, soft drinks, orange juice and mineral water. Its products are distributed throughout Europe.
