Royal Mail hits target.

ROYAL Mail's Quality of Service report for the first quarter of 2019-20 financial year reveals it has exceeded its regulatory First Class mail target in the CH postcode area, with 93.0 per cent of this mail delivered the next working day.

Overall, Royal Mail surpassed its regulatory target for First Class mail, delivering 93.2 per cent the next working day, against a target of 93.0 per cent.

For Second Class mail, Royal Mail exceeded its regulatory target, delivering 98.9 per cent of this mail within three working days.

Lee Martin, service delivery leader, Royal Mail, said: "We are very pleased with our First Class performance in this area. We take our Quality of Service requirements extremely seriously and our postmen and postwomen work hard to deliver high standards of service to all our customers across the UK."
