Rowdy kids all too much for Gavin & Stacey star.

GAVIN & Stacey actress Joanna Page has revealed that her latest role was almost enough to put her off becoming a mum.

The 34-year-old Swansea actress plays a mother coming to grips with the school run in new comedy Gates and said she often found working with children quite hard.

She said: "Sometimes this role put me off having babies because working with children can be quite hard. After a while I'd think, 'I can't be bothered anymore' or when there was a whole room full of kids all talking at once I would be like, 'Jesus, I need a break now'. And if you're a mum and you feel like that I don't know what you do!

"But we did have a laugh. I learnt that you can actually talk to an eight-year-old normally and don't have to pull faces or talk in a baby voice or anything.

"And I discovered that making farting noises is apparently hilarious!"
