Routledge: GEORGE Galloway.

Byline: Paul ROUTLEDGE

GEORGE Galloway has been evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother house. His eviction from the House of Commons will take longer, but it will come.

Galloway made a fool of himself and the voters of Bethnal Green will complete his humiliation at the next election. Grown men should have nothing to do with "reality" TV. There is nothing more artificial than locking people up in a room for several weeks.

My pal Charlie Whelan, former press spokesman for Gordon Brown, was offered a place on one of these shows. He turned them down. There isn't enough money in the Bank of England to buy a decent man's dignity.
