Rothschild to lead B'nai B'rith unit.

Circuit Judge Ronald J. Rothschild was recently installed as president of B'nai B'rith Justice Unit #5207 at the unit's 21st Annual Installation Brunch in Ft. Lauderdale.

The B'nai B'rith Justice Unit is a local chapter of B'nai B'rith International consisting of members of the legal community.

Broward State Attorney Michael J. Satz was the master of ceremonies at the event that was attended by federal and state judges, attorneys, public officials and, business leaders.

The affair also honored nine judges who have served as president of the B'nai B'rith Justice Unit over the past 20 years: Fourth District Court of Appeal Judges Mark E. Polen and Barry J. Stone; Circuit Court Judges Paul L. Backman, J. Leonard Fleet, Mel B. Grossman and Alfred J. Horowitz; County Court Judges Fred J. Berman and Robert S. Zack; and U.S. Magistrate Judge Barry S. Seltzer.

Judge Rothschild was elected to the Broward County Court in 1991 and was appointed to the Circuit Court in 1998 where he now serves in the Criminal Division.

Judge Rothschild has been active in numerous charitable and civic organizations for over 20 years.
