Rosedale: a new golf and country club community has blossomed.

Once you enter the long, shady drive at Rosedale Golf & Country Club, you enter a different world. For half a mile a tranquil road stretches between columns of 80-foot-tall slash pines, inviting you to linger and to cherish life at its most serene.

The entrance is just one example of the uniqueness of this showcase community, where true commitment to the environment is evident everywhere... in the densely wooded hammocks of mature live oaks, in the long-leaf pines, in the hanging Spanish moss, the natural streams and the splashes of brilliant wild flowers. More than half of Rosedale's acreage is open space, devoted to the 18-hole golf course, walking trails, bike paths and nature preserves.

Approximately 500 residences will be built behind the gates of this new community, and each one has a view of a lush fairway, lake or nature preserve. The developers of Rosedale, The Hunt Group, have much experience in creating luxury communities, and their market research led to two distinct housing styles within Rosedale: Bloomfield Park, a neighborhood of elegant single-family homes; and Sweetbriar Court, a community of detached golfvillas, for those who prefer a maintenance-free lifestyle and the utmost privacy.

The architecture is modern Florida, and although designs are controlled for consistency, buyers can customize their home to suit their needs. Flowing living spaces, often surrounding courtyards and pools; volume ceilings; French doors; and Pella windows are hallmarks of The Hunt Group's quality, detail-oriented construction.

Throughout this green and quiet community winds a championship golf course with the inimitable signature of master golf course architect Ted McAnlis. Rolling fairways, spacious greens and four sets of tees blend harmoniously with nature's own design, and players will never cease to be challenged by the subtleties of this well-planned course.

And to complete this fabulous country club lifestyle, Rosedale will have six lighted Har-Tru tennis courts, fitness facilities, a heated lap pool and a fine restaurant and lounge in a gracious clubhouse that has been designed around the trees.

Rosedale Golf & Country Club is a luxury community with an affordable price: Single-family homes range from $114,900 to $207,900 with homesites priced from $39,900 to $65,000. Villas range from $129,900 to $159,900; premium villa homesites are available for an additional $5,000 and $10,000.

Conveniently located, Rosedale is midway between Bradenton and Sarasota and just a half mile east of I-75 (exit 41) on SR70. Make an appointment to tour Rosedale and linger under the trees. Call the information center at (813) 751-9070 or 1-800-881-9080.
