Rose and Crown wilt to W.Speke; CMS LEAGUE.

THERE was just one giant-killing act in the Archbishop's Shield as C.M.S Division One side The Abbey eliminated Premier Division outfit The Derby Mills 1-0.

In the only all-Premier tie Western Speke beat Rose and Crown 4-2.

In the remaining four ties the Premier Division sides proved too strong for their opposition from the league below as Polonia Camps defeated The Claremont 6-3,

Railway beat East Liverpool 4-1, Mosslane accounted for Pipes by the same score line and Speke Acsil RCU hammered Walton Athletic 6-2. In the only match in the Premier Division Northpark swapped places with AFC Kirkby to move up into third spot after beating them 4-1.
