Romanian, Bulgarian airports closed due to blizzards.
The airport in Constanta, Romania is closed today (4 February) due to the blizzards in the eastern parts of the country.
In addition to the airport being closed, some trains did not run while others have been delayed for up to six hours, according to the news service Rompres. The counties of Constanta, Tulcea, Calarasi, Ialomita, Buzau and Braila were reportedly affected the worst by the weather conditions.
The authorities in Bulgaria declared a state of emergency in the eastern parts of the country due to the heavy snowfall. The airport in Varna, Bulgaria is closed today while flights from the Burgas airport were also cancelled.
