Romania central bank keeps rates unchanged.

Romania's central bank has kept its key monetary policy rate unchanged at a record low of 6.25 percent, news agency Mediafax has reported.
The central bank has also decided to maintain the current ratios of the minimum reserve requirements at 15 percent for Romanian leu liabilities and 25 percent for foreign currency liabilities. The central bank also said that it will act to ensure an adequate management of liquidity in the banking system.
The central bank has cut its key rate four times this year, to 6.25 percent from eight percent at the end of 2009, while keeping the minimum reserve requirements unchanged.
