Roller disco rocks; BURNS FESTIVAL.

Byline: Jackie Grant

Parents and children had a poptastic time at the Big Burns Supper Roller Disco on Sunday morning.

Youngsters under five took to the floor of the Spiegeltent at the Whitesands at 9.30am before families joined in the fun an hour later.

Mums and dads dusted off their disco skates and got down with the kids, joining the Big Burns Supper crew and United Sk8's for a skate through the disco ages.

Spectators also watched from the sidelines to cheer on their friends and family as they had a boogie and soaked up the retro atmosphere.

With a soundtrack from electro to disco, soul to breakbeat and hip hop, all with a cheesy twist of favourite old school disco tunes, there was music for everyone to enjoy.
