Roll up for the circus.

YOUNGSTERS can run away and join the circus at a museum this weekend.

Visitors to the Discovery Museum, in Newcastle, can learn how to roll in a German wheel, balance on a wire, hang from a trapeze, spin a hat and even ride a unicycle in sessions from 2.30pm to 4.30pm on Saturday and Sunday. Hazel Edwards, manager of Discovery Museum said: "We hope that visitors will come along and be inspired to have a go at learning some of these circus skills - it promises to be a lot of fun." The performers, from Five Ring Circus, will also be demonstrating their skills from 10am to 1pm for visitors to come and watch.
