Rocking on Ramsay St.

Bring out the birthday cake and party hats to celebrate Neighbours' 10th anniversary in Britain.

Those familar faces from Ramsay Street first hit UK TV screens on October 27, 1986.

Two of the show's most popular stars, Tom Oliver, who plays favourite oldie Lou Carpenter, and Emma Harrison - glamorous Joanna Hartman - flew to London to start the celebrations.

"Neighbours is like one big family off screen as well as on," says Tom, who has played Lou for more than four years. "The cast and the crew get along famously."

And 22-year-old Emma Harrison counts Tom as one of her best friends on the show.

"I get on really well with the older members of the cast," says blonde and bubbly Emma, who plays Annalise's half-sister in the soap.

Emma is also pals with Aussie pin-up Peter Andre. The pair attended Benowa Primary School in Queensland and Emma appeared in Peter's Do You Wanna Dance? video three years ago.

"There were two of us dancing in the video with Peter.

"It was great fun and I even got to lift up Peter's shirt!"
