Rock-Tenn promotes Deadwyler.

Rock-Tenn Co. of Norcross, Ga., has promoted Erik Deadwyler to executive vice president and general manager of the company's recycled fiber division.

In his new position, Deadwyler will be responsible for managing the division's seven recycled fiber plants as well as Rock-Tenn Trading, the company's fiber brokerage and trading business.

Deadwyler joined Rock-Tenn in June 2002 as director of commodity risk management. In February 2005, his role was expanded to director of purchasing and commodity risk management, which included developing company-wide sourcing initiatives and managing purchasing and accounts payable functions. He was promoted to the post of vice president and general manger, Rock-Tenn Trading, in October of 2005.
