Concord-based quarrier Rock of Ages Corp. (ROAC) has restated its
earnings for the fourth quarter of 2007 and the full year, now posting
deeper net losses. The firm had reported modest income in continuing
operations of $1 million but a net loss for the fourth quarter of 2007
of $4.17 million, or 56 cents per share. After factoring in impairment charges of $1.36 million for a one-third equity stake in the Ukrainian
quarrier VIKA Ltd., Rock of Ages now reports a net loss of nearly $5.5
million, or 74 cents per diluted share
