Rochester Medical signs deal with Coloplast. (Supplier News).

Rochester Medical Corp. has signed an agreement with Coloplast for the marketing and distribution of Rochester Medical's anti-infection Release-NF Foley Catheters. Coloplast paid Rochester Medical $1 million (U.S.) for exclusive marketing and distribution rights for the patented anti-infection catheters worldwide, with the exception of the U.S., Canada, South Korea, and Turkey. The agreement also provides for the two companies to cooperate in developing enhanced versions of the product.

Rochester Medical Corp., based in Stewartville Minn., develops, manufactures, and markets latex-free disposable medical catheters and devices for urological and continence care. Coloplast, headquartered in Denmark, is a leading supplier of ostomy, continence care, and wound care products.
