Rochester Chapter honors Steven Friedlander.

At its annual Tri-Chapter Conference, the Rochester Chapter presented the Meritorious Chapter Service Award to Steven Friedlander, who recently retired from Xerox Corp. Steve has been an active and dedicated member of the Rochester Chapter for over 30 years, serving the chapter in all roles as an officer, culminating in his term as chapter president in 1982-1983. In addition, he served 3 different stints as chapter representative to the TEI Board of Directors for a total of 17 years.

Steve helped raised the profile of the Rochester Chapter at the Institute level through his service as Regional Vice President, and as a member of the Executive Committee in 1991-1992. He was also a long-time member of the Institute's State and Local Tax Committee, and he has been a member of the Institute's Awards Committee. He has helped organize numerous chapter programs and assisted with arranging top-notch speakers. Steve is pictured speaking to the chapter after he received his award.
