Robert Pattinson Visits Children's Hospital in Los Angeles [VIDEO].
The 27-year-old Twilight fame actor visited two fans with cystic fibrosis, who were unable to leave their rooms.
"Robert was so nervous about meeting the kids-he didn't want to let them down-which is a testament to how humble he is. He was incredibly gracious and kind. He will probably never fully understand what a huge lift he gave to these kids today, and how it will positively impact them over the long term," Ana Vega, Child Life specialist, is (http://www.wetreatkidsbetter.org/2013/08/robert-pattinson-does-arts-and-crafts-with-kids/) quoted on the hospital's website as saying.
Pattinson also posed for photographs and signed picture frames for every patient.
"We couldn't help laughing and smiling when one of the patients was so starstruck she that couldn't speak. You could tell it meant the world to her-she was tearing up and smiling ear to ear as we were leaving," Lyndsay Hutchison, senior public information officer at Children's Hospital Los Angeles added, "The other little girl teased him relentlessly and begged him to do an American accent. They were instant friends."
Pattinson is currently busy shooting Map To The Stars, in which he plays the role of Jerome, a limousine driver and aspiring actor. He will be seen opposite Australian actress Mia Wasikowska.
"Thanks for having me," Pattinson said in a video statement, "It's been a great day and I hope I see you all again soon. Thanks a lot."
