Robbie's six appeal is match for Dylan.

ROBBIE Williams will join the musical greats when his new album goes straight in at number one.

It will be the sixth disc to top the album charts for the ex-Take That star and will see him equal Bob Dylan's record and overtake George Michael and Prince.

Robbie's Greatest Hits album is expected to go straight to the top of the charts when it is released on Monday.

Every studio album he's made so far has been a chart-topper. If this does the same,it would make Robbie, 30, a more successful artist in Britain than Prince, George Michael and Barbra Streisand.

And he will be only one chart-topping album behind the legendary Elton John and Rod Stewart.

Robbie has sold 25million record, with massive hits such as Angels, Millennium and Rock DJ.

David Roberts, editor of the Guinness British Hit Singles & Albums magazine, said: 'It is really quite bizarre to see Robbie next to Dylan.

'He is an entertainer and not a rock god but he has a massive cross-over appeal.'
