ARMED robbers yesterday made away with e1/4370 and electrical goods, after robbing the reception area in an Ayia Napa apartment complex.

Three men, who had their faces hidden under scarves, barged into the complex on Nissi Avenue and threatened Nepalese receptionist with a knife.

They then took e1/4370 in cash, a laptop worth e1/4500 and a mobile phone valued at e1/4180.

The thieves locked the employee up in the storage room and disappeared but he managed to break out and alert his employer.

The incident is being investigated by Ayia Napa police and Famagusta's Crime Investigation Department.
