Roads worse than Poland's.

THE Department for Transport have told us that it will take 14 years to repair all existing potholes on Britain's roads.

I find this to be a terrible situation given how much motorists have to fork out in taxes and parking fines, bus lane fines etc. Where, may I ask, does all this money go to? This is happening at a time when new roads and motorways are under construction in Poland, Hungary and other East European countries, partly paid for with our EU membership fees. Whenever did the EU donate money to improve roads in Britain? The Government is making such a big noise about driverless electric vehicles being the way forward, so what is the point of investing billions in new technology when our roads are so bad we have nowhere to drive these wonderful space age vehicles?
