She leaves a daughter, Carol Parker and her husband, Dennis, with whom she lived; a son, Robert Warbin, and his wife, Molly, of St. Louis, Mo.; her twin sister, Rachel Corman, formerly of Lancaster; three grandchildren: Rebecca Tidlund, Todd Parker, and Brittan Warbin; three great-grandsons, Nicholas, Alexander and Jonah; nieces and nephews.
Three sisters, Elsie Sibal, Priscilla Jewett and Carol Jackson, predeceased her.
Born in Clinton and raised in Berlin, she was the daughter of Brittan and Florence (Felton) Jackson. She was a graduate of Clinton High School and the Clinton Hospital School of Nursing.
For many years, she worked as a registered nurse. She began her career at Hudson Hospital, before working at Clinton Hospital, the Worcester County Sanitorium, and later, at Memorial Hospital, Worcester, retiring in 1983.
An active, devout member of the First Congregational Church of West Boylston, she was a long-time greeter and volunteered at the church thrift shop and in the church office, often assisting with the preparation of the church bulletin. In addition, she volunteered much of her time to the Red Cross and Fallon Community Health Plan.
An avid bird watcher, she enjoyed feeding the birds, and doing crossword and jigsaw puzzles.
A memorial service was held Monday, Dec. 12, in the First Congregational Church of West Boylston. Private burial was in North Cemetery, Berlin.
