Riverbank announces deals

Riverbank Realty Company reports more than 100,000 square-feet of lease transactions were concluded last quarter.

Riverbank Realty Company recently represented World-Wide Holdings Corporation in a move to the Penthouse of 150 East 58th Street. World-Wide Holdings, a major developer of commercial real estate properties, including World-Wide Plaza in New York and the Pacific Design Center in Los Angeles, will occupy over 11,000 square-feet of space with encompasses the entire 39th floor. Thomas Dalzell, vice president of Riverbank represented the tenant in this transaction which has aggregate rental value of over $3.2 million.

Riverbank Realty represented McCrory Corporation in its move to a full floor of 8,000 square-feet at 667 Madison Avenue. Paul Glickman, senior vice president and A. Mitti Liebersohn, executive vice president of Riverbank represented McCrory in the move from Trump Tower.

McCrory Corporation owns and operates over 1,100 retail stores throughout the nation, with the largest consolidation of stores in Florida, California, Pennsylvania and New York. McCrory's operation sell a broad mix of consumer merchandise, store chain include GC Murphy Co., T.G. & Y., JJ Newberry, McLellan and HL Green.

Riverbank announced that it has successfully disposed of 17,000 square-feet of office space in 111 West 40th Street on behalf of Akzo America.

Gil Robinov, vice chairman, James de Jong, first vice president and Henry J. Goodfriend, vice president of Riverbank have undertaken the exclusive assignment to sublet the company's 34,000 square-foot office on the 19th and 20th floors.

Akzo America, a Dutch pharmaceutical and chemical company noted as the world's largest producer of salt, will be consolidating its New York City operation of offices in Dobbs Ferry, New York, and Chicago.

The subtenant is an accounting firm which is relocating from 1500 Broadway. It was represented by Newmark & Co.
