River Plate vs Boca Juniors Copa Libertadores final marred by chaotic scenes; There were ugly scenes as the Boca Juniors team bus was smashed, three players were taken to hospital and Carlos Tevez was seen vomiting going in to the stadium after 'pepper spray attack'.

The huge Copa Libertadores final second leg between River Plate and Boca Juniors was seriously marred after chaotic scenes outside of the stadium.
The first leg left this match finely balanced at 2-2between the fierce Argentine rivals and the match itself is expected to feisty affair and was due to kick-off at 8pm UK time.
However the start time of the game, which looked to be in serious jeopardy of even being played for a time, has been delayed and will not be played "before 9pm" according to the official federation of football in Argentina.
The Boca Juniors official team bus had various missiles thrown at it as it approached the El Monumental stadium in Buenos Aires.

As the coach pulled into the ground a smashed window, passenger side of the driver, was visible.
It has been claimed through reports in Argentina that pepper spray was thrown onto the coach.
Former Manchester United strikerCarlos Teves,34, was reportedly the worst effected by the attack, and was pictured being helped in to the home changing room.
Chief football writer at The Independent Miguel Delaneywrote: "Pepper spray got onto Boca bus after River fans attacked it, and police tried to disperse, leaving players wretching. Conmebol meeting now to discuss if game delayed by an hour.
"Boca players apparently want to play, though some visibly wretching coming in."

Argentine journalist Mootaz Chehade reported that "Boca president Daniel Angelici has informed CONMEBOL president Alejandro Dominguez that Boca does NOT want to play the match at El Monumental."
Chehade also wrote: "Boca central midfielder Pablo Perez has pieces of glass in his eyes. He will be moved to a medical facility."
Delaney added that "Perez can't play for Boca and is going to hospital."
TV reports in Argentina also claim that the Boca players are vomiting in the dressing as a result of the attack.

Reportedly there was an option being discussed of playing the match midweek behind closed doors. River president Rodolfo D'Onofrio, Boca counterpart Daniel Angelici and CONMEBOL officials were said to be looking at this before coming to the conclusion of delaying the match.
At 8pm UK time an announcement came over the PA system inside the stadium stating the match would be taking place at an hour later than scheduled.
