Rivaldo in right fix; WORLD OF FOOTBALL.

Byline: By KEVIN McALLION

GREEK giants Olympiakos are trying to freeze the assets of loudmouth former hero Rivaldo.

The Brazilian, who now plays for AEK Athens, has been slagging off his old club and last week paid the price with a defamation lawsuit.

Rivaldo claimed the club bought off Greek FA officials during his three-year spell and cast doubt over their title success this season.

AEK chairman Demis Nikolaidis was furious at Rivaldo for blackening his club's name and has sued for pounds 4million.

A club spokesman said: 'An injunction has been filed against Rivaldo. It asks for the freeze of his property up to the sum of pounds 4m to cover the compensation demanded."
