Risk Analysis Software.

Decisioneering Inc. has released a new version of its risk analysis, forecasting, and optimization software, Crystal Ball 2000, and made it available in two editions--the standard edition and the professional edition.

Crystal Ball is a Windows-based Microsoft add-in that uses Monte Carlo simulation to minimize uncertainties in spreadsheet modeling. The new editions include a scenario tool designed to determine the values of uncertain variables that lead to specified outcomes, as well as Microsoft certification and a network installer for easy license monitoring on corporate servers.

The professional edition of Crystal Ball 2000 also includes upgrades to the following products: OptQuest, CB Predictor, and the Developer Kit. Crystal Ball 2000 Professional Edition is available worldwide under a single- or multi-user license at $1,490 per user. The standard edition costs $685 per user.
