Rio's photo wins offer of new home.

LOVEABLE Rio has a new home -thanks to the Daily Post's Give A Dog A Home campaign. He instantly captured the hearts of Richard and Ann Owen,of Northop. No sooner had they clapped eyes on Rio -formerly called Rhino -they called the Bryn y Maen RSPCA centre, near Colwyn Bay, to offer him a home.

``I spotted him in the Daily Post about three weeks ago and I fell in love with his photo straight away,'' said 60-year-oldMrs Owen.

Chops, who featured in the campaign, also looks set to find a new home. And cute little Milo has also generated a lot of interest.

A Bryn y Maen spokeswoman said: ``We have a had a lot of calls and people coming in.''

The RSPCA centre at Bryn y Maen can be contacted on 0870 010 1845 and is open from 10.30am to4pm each day except Thursdays.

The cost of a dog is pounds 80,covering neutering and ID chips. All dogs have been vaccinated, wormed and flea sprayed.
