THE Northumberland and Durham Cycling Association held their annual awards night at Barnesbury Cycling Club.

Riders who had enjoyed success in the saddle during 2013 were honoured by Association president Allen Armstrong.

He finished ahead of GS Metro's Ben Lane and Wansbeck CC's Lee McDermott.

Murray was also recognised for taking the Association's 199-Mile Championship and the Gateshead Cycling Club Memorial Trophy.
