Richard Madeley's pretend row ends in real chaos as he 'destroys' the GMB set; The Good Morning Britain presenter told his guests to 'pretend' nothing was going on as Ranvir Singh confessed 'something terrible has happened'.

Richard Madeley started a pretend row on today's Good Morning Britain as part of an airline skit - but it ended in real chaos.

After Gemma Collins squabbled with a passenger on a flight who put her chair back, the presenter hosted a debate on whether it is rude to recline your seat.

To explain what they were talking about, Richard and co-host Ranvir Singh sat in plane seats and acted out a heated scenario.

Ranvir pushed her chair back quickly and knocked water on Richard's lap, prompting him to sarcastically cry: "Thanks a lot. Cheers. You soaked me."

However, as the presenters stood up to return to the desk there was a massive bang that shocked guests Bobby Norris andKady McDermott.

Ever the professional, Richard said: "Pretend it didn't happen. It didn't happen."

Ranvir had a look of worry on her face and confessed: "Something terrible has happened."

Cheeky Richard then tried to jokingly accuse Ranvir of knocking over the plane seat, as she admitted: "We've ruined the set now."

Love Island star Kady believes passengers should be able to recline their seats.

Richard, who was against the concept, joked that he was very tempted to throw water over her.

Explaining her reasoning, Kady said: "I think aircraft when they were being made they put the recline button to be used. I'm going to take advantage of that button.

"Maybe not if I'm going to Ireland. If I'm flying to Dubai seven hours I can't sleep upright. I don't like flying and I need to have a doze if I'm feeling panicky. I'm only 5ft 3 so it doesn't really bother me."

TOWIE star Bobby, who is close pals with the GC, argued that reclining was selfish.

He said: "I do agree. Reclining for me for short hall flights shouldn't be a function. I think airlines should lock the seat.

"You should be a courteous passenger when you're travelling. You don't need to use it. I've seen people have rows on planes. Have tea and coffee spilt on them. With boiling water it's really dangerous."
