You can thank half of Death In Vegas when Richard Fearless DJs Wrexham's Rope tonight.

There are many things you can admire Richard Fearless and Death In Vegas for. The group's career has been a wealthy mix of krautrock, psychedelia and techno genius. Their return to touring has been welcomed by all quarters.

Fearless himself started out as a DJ in the early 90s, he then stumbled into creating music after hooking up with a like-minded engineer.

Experimenting with Pop group Death with Richard looping hip hop beats, he became a reluctant hero of big beat, a resident DJ at the hallowed Heavenly Social and soon found himself putting a live band together to tour the first Death in Vegas album.

In Vegas, Fearless (right) The past 12 months have been magnificent for Rope. The Wrexham event has brought a vast array of talent to the town including the likes of Silver Apples, Dum Girls, Times New Viking, and Scum. In support has been the best of local talent.

Their first show of 2012 does little to break tradition. Also on the bill will be Blood Music and Victorian Hardware. who ply a trade in eerie, brooding songs.
