Rich tributes paid to poet Josh Malihabadi.

RAWALPINDI -- Speakers paying glowing tributes to poet Ustad Josh Malihabadi said he was poet of the nature and had played great role for the cause of Muslims of Sub-continent.

They were addressing at the conference organized by Josh Adabi Foundation and Rawalpindi Arts Council (RAC) in connection with 121st birth anniversary of international fame poet Josh Malihabadi.

Member National Assembly Dr Nikhat Shakil Khan was the chief at the event while famous scholar, Dr Ghazanfar Mehdi presided over the conference.

Addressing at the occasion, Dr Nikhat Shakil Khan said Josh is the recognition of Pakistani literature who paid a great role in Pakistan movement through his poetry. She said that it is need of the time to promote his literary work.

Dr Ghazanfar Mehdi said that Josh was infact a poet of nature and due to his revolutionary ideas, he become forever. He added more research work should be initiated.

Resident Director RAC Waqar Ahmed said that Josh is valuable asset. Malik Fida ur Rehman anchored the conference which was also addressed by Foundation President Farrukh Jamal, Dr Mazhar Qayyum, Naeem Akram Qureshi, Dr Yaha and Hakim Mohammad Mehmood Saharanpuri.
