Ribbons is a fairly new gift boutique on Siesta Key's Ocean Boulevard. Owner Kathy Bobbitt takes it as a personal challenge to have something new to show to her weekly shoppers. Right now popular items include small crystal and French perfume bottles starting at $28 and tiny Limoges message boxes, some shaped like fruits, from $50. The Edna Hibel plates and prints are collectible favorites, but a new Midwestern artist simply named "Edith" is coming on strong. She does whimsical animal prints such as dressed-up lady rabbits having a fancy tea party. These signed and numbered prints begin at $90. Ms. Bobbitt has an eye for the best in Battenburg lace, and she always has a nice supply of lace handkerchiefs, hand and fingertip towels. One of her biggest-selling items is a popular hostess gift: a lovely Battenburg lace wine coaster at $5.50. Now there's a deal.
